Pinterest Feeds to Magento sites, how to do the integration?
In the previous post, we introduced to you our extension named Pingento that supports you to add Pin It button as well as popular social network buttons like G+, FB, Tweet… to your product page with several options. Today, we are glad to inform you that a new cool feature is added to this tool. It is the capability to help you interact with your Pin Board in your Magento site!
First, please upgrade Pingento to the latest version 1.1.1 (or deploy it if you haven’t installed it yet)
Then go to the back office of Pingento, sure you will see a new config part about Pinterest Feeds parameters.
Almost parameters are easy to understand, just some notes here for Pinterest Username, Pinterest Board Slug and Pins Maximum Number
- In case you enter your Pinterest Username & Pinterest Board Slug, we will show maximum “Maximum Number” latest Pins from your Pin Board (with your Board Slug) and your account (with your username)
- In case you enter only your Pinterest Username, we will show maximum “Maximum Number” latest Pins from your account (with your username)
- In case you don’t enter your Pinterest Username, we will show maximum “Maximum Number” latest popular Pins from Pinterest!
After setting all information, you will get your latest Pins from Pinterest in your Magento site!
P/S: at this time, we are supporting Pin Board blocks in either the left column or the right column, means 2 columns layout or 3 columns layout. We will support custom position and tell you how to make it work in the next release.
